What is the Association’s position regarding the phenomenon of illegal logging? Will it provide a code of conduct that any current and future members will be required to adhere to?
The Association supports sustainable management of forests, and the Statute provides for the promotion of compliance with applicable law and the highest ethical and professional standards in the wood industry. The Association will develop a code of conduct for its members based on these values. The Board of Directors of the Association may decide to exclude a member who does not comply with the Code of Conduct and the values promoted by the Association.
